Laser Photonics Closes Acquisition of Beamer Laser Marking Systems​

This week Orlando-based Laser Photonics Corporation (LPC), a leader in industrial laser systems for cleaning and other material processing applications, announced the successful acquisition of Beamer Laser Marking Systems.

According to the official press release, the operations of Lake Mary-based Beamer are now fully integrated with LPC. In addition to the Lake Mary headquarters, Beamer has a manufacturing plant in Orlando and a large distribution network including 19 authorized dealer location with 80 reps across the U.S. and Mexico.

Laser Photonics is a vertically integrated manufacturer and R&D Center of Excellence for industrial laser technologies and complex laser systems ranging from cleaning and cutting to marking and engraving.

Korea's JS Link Investing $223 Million in Georgia Rare Earth Magnet Plant

JS Link America, the U.S. subsidiary of Korea’s JS Link, has announced plans to invest $223 million to establish a new rare earth permanent magnet manufacturing facility in Columbus, Georgia.

JS Link is a manufacturer of high-performance sintered permanent magnets, utilizing rare earth materials sourced and processed from trusted partners in Western and allied countries, including the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

The Governor’s Office shared the good news in an official press release noting that the Korean investment would also create over 500 new high-skill, high-paying jobs for the people of Muscogee County. 

“JS Link America strengthens Georgia’s role in securing the U.S. supply chain in industries such as aerospace, mobility, and energy. We are excited for the continued growth of manufacturing in west Georgia.” – Gov. Brian Kemp

JS Link America Inc.’s new manufacturing facility will be located at the Muscogee Technology Park in Columbus. The 130,000-square-foot facility is predicted to have an annual production capacity of 3,000 tons.

Operations are expected to begin in late 2027. The company will be hiring for engineering, production, construction, administrative, and management roles.

.decimal Cancer Therapy Devices Saving Lives Nationwide

A Central Florida manufacturing business is in the spotlight for their 36-year track record making life changing devices including a wide variety of custom radiation therapy devices for patients battling cancer.

Japan's TOTO Opens $224 Million Luxury Toilet Production Facility

TOTO, one of the world’s largest bathroom fixtures and fittings manufacturers, has opened a $224-million, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Morrow, Georgia, capable of producing approximately 300,000 high-end, one-piece toilets per year. The plant created approximately 420 new jobs for Morrow and Clayton County residents

The three-story, 363,000-square-foot facility which commenced construction in June 2023 is now fully operational, and the company believes the new plant will drive a 150% boost in TOTO’s U.S. luxury toilet output. 

According to the official press release, luxury one-piece toilets are a strategic product for the Americas market.Previously sourced primarily from TOTO Global Group plants in Asia, they often faced extended lead times. Localized production now ensures timely delivery, strengthens TOTO’s North American supply chain, and supports the company’s growth strategy across the Americas.

TOTO USA CEO Taro Muroi says the grand opening in Georgia is another milestone in the company’s long history of investment and production on American soil:

Belgium's stow Group To Invest $36 Million in Georgia Manufacturing Plant

stow Group, a leading industrial storage and automation solutions company, has announced plans to invest $36 million to establish a manufacturing presence in Gordon County, Georgia

The Belgium-based company manufactures industrial racking systems and develops customized warehouse and storage solutions. The company is currently expanding into the U.S. and serves clients in logistics, food and beverage, life sciences, and other industries.

Michael Morgenroth, Plant Manager for the new stow manufacturing facility in Georgia says that training is already underway at the Gordon County plant which will create approximately 200 new jobs.

stow’s new manufacturing operations will comprise 240,000 square feet of an existing building along Highway 41 near Adairsville. Operations are expected to begin in 2026.
