A Sure Sign that Spring is Near
You know it’s February in Florida when the two weeks of cold weather are behind us (OK, maybe two months this year), and the locals start thinking about getting back out on the water.
And there is no clearer indication that Spring and boating excursions to the Bahamas and the Keys are only weeks away as when the massive billion-dollar armada of brand new boats and yachts wends its way back into the Miami canals.
The Miami International Boat Show will be the main event garnering all of the outdoor lovers’ attention next week in South Florida with five full days of events, exhibits and VIP experiences.
The Progressive Boat Show Experience
One of the main draws for many 2024 MIBS attendees will be the Boat Show Experience held in Pride Park adjacent to the Miami Beach Convention Center. According to the organizers, the BSE will feature several venues for demos, dining, and yes…even pickleball.

Nautical Ventures AquaZone: The AquaZone’s 60’ x 30’, 40,000-gallon freshwater pool, is located in Pride Park and home for in-water demos, hands-on testing, contests & prizes, and more! For thrill seekers and water lovers alike, the AquaZone is designed to give boat show-goers an upfront and personal experience with a variety of water sports and innovative marine products.
Culinary Experience: Explore a whirlwind of flavors at DBMIBS all while soaking in the extravagant views. The boat show will be offering world-class culinary experiences along with innovative cocktails provided by the show’s partners such as Budweiser, Goslings, Tanqueray, Ketel One, and Crown Royal.
Pride Park Pickleball Court: Test your talents in the game of pickeball! First come, first serve.

MIBS By the Numbers
About the only thing more impressive than the SuperYachts at this year’s event is the draw and economic impact that MIBS has on the local economy in Miami and South Florida in general.

Discover Boating, the Miami International Boat Show 2024 runs from February 14-18. More information and tickets are available on the official event website.
