
Dunes Point Capital Acquires West Orange Roofing
New York-based Dunes Point Capital today announced their acquisition of West Orange Roofing. West Orange has served Central Florida homeowners and businesses for over 45 years.

West Orange Roofing is a third generation, family owned business that was founded in Tavares by Bobby Swindle in 1978. Over time, West Orange has expanded its service footprint northward to Alachua County and southward to Polk County.
Today, the company has approximately 40 employees working out of three offices in Tavares, Williston and Auburndale. West Orange offers roof repair, restoration and replacement services to homeowners and businesses.
According to the official press release, Dunes Point Capital made the acquisition through the investment firm’s portfolio company, Roofing Services Solutions (RSS).
Parsons Roofing Opens New Office In Peachtree Corners
Atlanta-based Parsons Roofing has announced the move to a new headquarters building in Peachtree Corners, the largest city in Gwinnett County, as well as a broader strategic plan to expand operations throughout the Southeast.

The rich history of Parson Roofing began in 1876 when founder Calvin Parsons started a single trading post which grew rapidly and evolved into a chain of general stores and eventually a building supply division.
Today, Parsons no longer sells roofing products, but the company has emerged as a leader in the installation, repair and restoration of commercial roofs.
Owner Jay Thornton, the great-grandson of Calvin Parsons, tells Peachtree Corners Magazine that the new headquarters will allow Parsons to expand the business to other major markets like Nashville, Orlando and Raleigh.

Alabama’s Apex Roofing has expanded operations to three new states with the opening of new offices in Atlanta, Chicago and Kansas City.
Birmingham-based Apex Roofing & Restoration was founded in 2010 and has completed over 35,000 roof projects through its 3 main divisions: Commercial Roofing, Residential Roofing and Multi-Family Roofing.

Colorado-based BluSky Restoration has announced the company is expanding its Florida footprint with the opening of its newest office in Jacksonville. The new office becomes BluSky’s third Florida market after previous openings in Orlando and Tampa. In Georgia, BluSky services customers out of its Atlanta location.

With the 2024 hurricane season just getting started, BluSky CEO Kent Stamper emphasized the importance of having boots on the ground in hurricane-prone areas of coastal Florida.

Los Angeles-based private investment firm Angeles Equity Partners today announced their acquisition of Illinois-based O’Hara’s Son Roofing (OSR).
Founded in 1987, OSR is a family-owned and operated roofing company based in Chicago and operating as a full-service contractor in the commercial and industrial roofing markets.

In addition to their Illinois headquarters, O’Hara’s has regional service operations in Florida, New Jersey and Texas. Licensed to operate in 48 states, OSR ranks as the nation’s seventeenth largest roofing contractor.
According to the official press release, OSR CEO Luke Coleman will continue to lead the business together with the existing management team.
