Originally founded during World War II, Astor Defence has been designing, manufacturing and testing packaging, storage and transit solutions for a wide range of weapons, explosives and high value items since 1942.

Palm Coast Welcomes Astor Defence USA

When fully operational in January 2025, Astor Defence USA will produce a wide range of military packaging solutions like ammunition containers, bomb pallets and mortar packaging for U.S. clients like Northrop Grumman, Day and Zimmerman, and General Dynamics.

Endeavor 3D Achieves Special Defense Manufacturing Status

Core & Main, an industry leader in advancing reliable infrastructure, has closed its previously announced acquisition of GroGreen Solutions, a leading provider of erosion control products with four locations in Florida, Georgia and Mississippi.

In addition to manufacturing and distributing a complete line of land development products, GroGreen Solutions operates several warehouses in the Southeast stocked with erosion control products like silt fence, geotextiles, erosion blankets and base reinforcement mats. 

Founded by Brad McCoy, Wes McAteer and partners in 2008, GroGreen Solutions expanded its manufacturing capabilities from a single silt fence machine to nearly 40 erosion control production machines over the past sixteen years.  

Beamex US Announces Relocation to Atlanta

Beamex, a world leader in calibration solutions, announced that the company has relocated US operations to Atlanta. Beamex US is a subsidiary of Finland’s Beamex Group. 

The company’s new facility on Powers Ferry Road includes over 11,000 square feet for a state-of-the-art calibration laboratory and warehouse plus an additional 3,000 square feet for future expansion.

German Group To Open Florida's First Automotive Plant In Jacksonville

A German manufacturing group has announced plans to build autonomous electric vehicles at the first automotive plant in the State of Florida

HOLON, a subsidiary of Germany’s BENTELER Group, is going to build a 500,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Jacksonville that will produce the company’s HOLON Mover, a fully electric and autonomous vehicle (AV) capable of carrying 15 passengers and traveling up to 37 mph. 

The HOLON Mover Will Be Built in Jacksonville

Prototypes of the HOLON mover will be available later this year and the first vehicles will be deployed in pilot projects in 2026. The company plans to target cities, private operators and institutions like airports, college campuses, planned communities and healthcare facilities

At the groundbreaking, HOLON CEO Henning von Watzdorf said his company sees tremendous untapped potential in Jacksonville, Florida and the U.S. market.
