WINDOOR Branding Campaign Revealed
WINDOOR, now part of Florida-based PGT Innovations, Inc. (NYSE: PGTI) family of brands, will roll out its new branding campaign including products, slogans, a stylish all-caps logos, a half-horse and half-fish mascot and even celebrity HGTV brand ambassadors at the upcoming NAHB International Builder’s Show (IBS) in Las Vegas.
“With a new tagline of ‘Luxury Innovations for Windows and Doors’, the new branding signifies leading the coastal living transformation, both in consumer’s expectations and of the inspiration behind the brand,” said Jeff Jackson, President and CEO of PGT Innovations.
Brand Focus on Ultra-Luxury Coastal Living
“WINDOOR is pioneering and elevating the limits of coastal living with exclusive products like the Envista window wall system and technologies such as Diamond Glass, our latest innovation and the next generation of impact-resistant glass.”
The company press release placed emphasis on the fact that the new line “steps forward as the first ultra-luxury window and door brand focused exclusively on coastal living innovations.” The WINDOOR website emphasizes three of those key ultra-luxury markets where they plan to foucs: 1. High-Rise Condos & Hotels, 2. Luxury Homes & Custom Residential, and 3. Custom Applications.

Diamond Glass: The New Standard
Diamond Glass will be the standard glass in the WINDOOR product portfolio, as previously announced by PGT last year.
According to the company, “Diamond Glass is a laminated, ultra-lightweight glass featuring Corning Architectural Technical Glass. It is up to 45% lighter and three times more scratch resistant than traditional laminated glass.

The next-generation glass technology stems from a collaboration with Corning Incorporated. Diamond Glass can be used for either laminated or laminated-insulated windows or doors.
The company views Diamond Glass as a game changer for both dealers and homeowners given the easier operability and availability in even larger sizes that still meet Miami-Dade testing standards.
PGT Stock Price Still Soaring
And while the company has the WINDOOR branding and Diamond Glass to celebrate, PGT shareholders have had reason to celebrate as well. The company stock which was trading around $18 a share in January 2023 went on a tear finishing 2023 just under $41 a share.

In late December, PGTI entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Masonite for $41 per share which was soon followed by an unsolicited bid from Miter Brands to acquire all outstanding shares of PGTI common stock for $41.50.
A January company press release explained both offers in greater detail and laid out the anticipated Next Steps if PGTI and Miter are “are able to negotiate a transaction on terms that the PGTI Board concludes is a superior proposal, Masonite would have the option, over a period of four business days, to offer to improve the terms of its existing merger agreement with PGTI.”
