Juniper’s recent pace of acquiring landscape businesses in Florida is even outpacing their ability to update the corporate website.

While Juniper’s homepage lists 17 locations and 2,000 team members in the Southeast, the two new Florida landscape business acquisitions bring the number of actual locations where Juniper has active locations to 28.  Juniper’s number of team members is estimated to be well over 3,000 at this point.

According to the company’s official press release, Juniper acquired Rip’s Professional Lawn Care in Panama City, an important step toward growing the company’s footprint in Northwest Florida.

Juniper’s partnership with Rip’s facilitates the Company’s expansion into the Florida panhandle market, one of only a few major markets in the state where Juniper has not already established a market-leading position. Rip’s President, James “Rip” Thompson, will continue to lead the branch with support from Juniper’s corporate team.

Juniper Lands Major Air Force Contract At Tyndall AFB

The Panhandle partnership with Rip’s could not have come at a better time considering that Juniper was just selected to be the lead landscape installation and maintenance provider for the nearby Tyndall Air Force Base.

Located just east of Panama City, Tyndall Air Force Base is home to 2,900 active duty members, the 325th Fighter Wing, the 53rd Weapons Evaluation Group and the 601st Air Operations Center. The base is spread out over 30,000 acres, so Juniper’s team will have plenty to keep them busy at Tyndall AFB..

Juniper Acquires Elegant Landscape & Design

The second of the two new Florida landscape business acquisitions for Juniper took place in Palm Beach County where the company already has established itself as a leader in landscape design and maintenance services.

In the official press release, Juniper CEO Brandon Duke explained the significance of the Elegant acquisition and management roles going forward.

“Partnering with Elegant allows us to build upon and expand our strong current presence in the Palm Beach market. Eric and Joe Morello have done a remarkable job growing this business and we are excited to welcome their team to the Juniper family.”

With the two new Florida landscape business acquisitions, Juniper now has 28 locations in Bonita Sprigs, Bradenton, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Naples, Ocala, Orlando, Palm Beach Gardens, Tampa, Venice and Vero Beach in Florida as well as Houston, Texas following the November 2023 acquisition of Shooter and Lindsey
