Bartlett Expanding Service Area in Louisiana, South Carolina
Connecticut-based Bartlett Tree Experts is continuing its push deeper into the Southeast with two new tree service acquisitions in Louisiana and South Carolina.
The announcements were featured in the current issue of TCI Magazine, the official publication of the Tree Care Industry Association.
Bartlett already has a presence in both states with a Louisiana office in New Orleans and South Carolina offices in Aiken, Beaufort, Charleston, Greer, Hilton Head and Rock Hill.
Bartlett Acquires Butler Brothers in Louisiana
In Louisiana, Bartlett acquired Butler Brothers LLC, a family owned business that served New Orleans and surrounding areas for over two decades.
According to the official press release, Butler Brothers’ owners Paul and Tim Butler said they decided to join Bartlett because they were impressed with Bartlett’s reputation in providing the highest level of scientific tree and shrub care services and for the Company’s position as a global leader in the industry.
"We are excited to welcome the Butler Brothers and their talented team of arborists."
Both Paul and Tim Butler have made the move to join the existing team at Bartlett’s New Orleans office, along with a plant health care technician and two arborists.
Bartlett Acquires Emery's Tree Service in South Carolina
In South Carolina, Bartlett acquired Emery’s Tree Service, a Greer-based family-owned operation that has served commercial and residential clients in Greenville and Spartanburg Counties for 32 years.
According the press release, “When owner Scott Emery made the decision to retire, he found Bartlett Tree Experts to be the best fit to acquire his business. Emery was impressed with Bartlett’s reputation as a leader in the industry, as well as the Company’s dedication to quality work and customer satisfaction in providing a full range of tree and shrub care services.
As part of the acquisition, the entire team from Emery’s Tree Service has joined Bartlett in its new Greer office, including an Arborist Representative and six production team members.b
